The Northern Illinois University (N.I.U.) Chapter of the American Society
for Engineering Education (A.S.E.E) is a student-based organization
committed to furthering education in engineering and engineering technology.
The organization was formed to act as a device for furthering interaction
among students, faculty, and administration within the N.I.U. Engineering
and Engineering Technology community. It serves in educating undergraduate
students about graduate education, and encouraging underrepresented groups
in higher education. It also serves as a means to promote effective
teaching and learning strategies at all levels.
