Gau, new faculty member for Spring Semester 2004
Jenn-Terng Gau, Ph.D., Ohio State University, 1999,
and former engineer in industry joins the ME faculty for Spring Semester
2004. Dr. Gau gained extensive experience at Harley-Davidson Motor
Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and at Ford Motor Company's
Aluminum Technology Division and on Ford's C3P Development and Stamping
Engineering Support. Dr. Gau's teaching and research interests are
sheet metal forming, CAD/CAM/CAE, FEM, solid mechanics, experimental
mechanics, design and manufacturing. The Department of Mechanical
Engineering at NIU welcomes Dr. Gau and anticipates many benefits for
students from Dr. Gau's industry experience and strong academic background.
