Dr. Payvar received the Department Service Award in 2005. This annual award was established in 2002 to recognize one professor in the department for his/her outstanding performance in services to students. The award carries a cash award of $500 and a plaque. The award selection is based on student evaluations on advising, students’ votes and extraordinary efforts to help students. |
